Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has invited applications for the posts of Welder with IBR Certification on Fixed Tenure Basis for a period of 12 months at their Project Sites anywhere in India. Do note that these government jobs are temporary – for a one year period. The company is planning to fill 75 vacancies across the country via this recruitment drive. BHEL Recruitment 2022: Eligibility

Educational Qualification

1. ITI , ( National Trade Certificate) Pass along with Qualified Boiler Welder’s Certificate as per Indian Boiler Regulations, 1950 (valid as on 14/02/2022).

2. Candidates must have 2 Years’ of experience in welding, post acquiring IBR certification and experience in areas mentioned under “Work Experience & Capabilities”. IBR certificate shall be valid as on 14/02/2022 and shall ensure IBR permission needed to work in a particular location which an appointee has to arrange by himself.

3. Candidates should be able to furnish their relevant educational, IBR Certificate and Post Qualification Work-Experience certificates at the time of reporting for skill test.

Age Limit

The upper age limit to apply for the post is 35 years (as on February 1, 2022).

BHEL Recruitment 2022: Remuneration and other benefits

The candidates, who will get selected, will receive a consolidated amount of Rs. 37,500 per month during a fixed tenure.

In addition to the consolidated compensation payable per month, Quality incentive (maximum Rs. 10000 per month, subject to meeting quality standards) and Productivity incentive (subject to number of joints welded above the standard benchmark) will also be payable.

They will also receive medical benefits like the premium of mediclaim policy to be availed by appointee for Rs. 2 lakhs for self, spouse and dependent children will be reimbursed.

BHEL Recruitment 2022: Selection process

All eligible applications received will be screened with reference to the advertised educational qualification and experience in welding post acquiring IBR certification and will be considered for further process.

In the event of eligible candidates being large, that is, in the ratio of 1:3 to the number of vacancies, the eligible candidates will be shortlisted for Skill Test in order of merit to the number of vacancies in each category, based on the marks received in NTC.
